
How to relieve your mental anguish
Divorce brings pain, disappointment and resentment. They don't go away but return again and again. The majority of people, when they come across the reason of their pain, begin to experience these sad feelings again. The sense of bitterness can be caused by old photos and different things in your house.
You have to do something with this pain. Otherwise, you won't be able to start your new life. You become a slave of your pain. It manipulates you and determines your actions. You try to getaway from the world around you. Even reading is painful, because you compare their plot with your own life and again you're haunted by these thoughts. But it doesn't mean that you should completely shrink into yourself. Thus you won't be able to go on. Each trial makes us stronger and gives us an incentive to change our lives for the better. It doesn't mean that your happiness is impossible in future. It can be impossible if you do nothing.
Talk to someone about your feelings. When we talk about them, their force decreases. The more you tell me about them aloud, the less influence they will have upon you.
If you don't want to share your problems with your friends, write about them. Diary can help to recount what we sometimes can not say. Write about your fears and thoughts. No one will be able to overhear you and use this information against you.
Try to forgive the person who made you suffer. Let him/her go together with all offences and problems.
Don't try to revenge yourself upon another person for your misfortune. You'd better use this energy for good things. Performing a good deed, you will get a lot of positive emotions.
Go for a walk, get acquainted, enjoy your life. Because now, having experienced these terrible feelings of sadness and resentment, you can appreciate all amenities of life without them. Go-round is also a sort of positive experience. In any case it has made you stronger.
