Virus of divorce
A strange title, isn't it? But if we consider it carefully, impartially and objectively, you will see that there is nothing strange in it.
Let's start with recollections. Remember your life before your marriage, first days and months of your marriage and analyse what you have now.
Why did you decide once to marry? What pushed you to this heroic deed? You didn't know anything about conjugal relationships but made up your mind to marry. You really wanted it. But how can one want something when he/she doesn't know it? Imagine, you have never tasted apples. How can you then want an apple? The same refers to marriage. Of course you learned about it from books, articles, life stories of your friends, etc. You tried it on yourself and it seemed to you that you wanted it either. But that was not enough. One more fact that pushed you to marriage was a social stereotype that it is bad for a person to live alone or in a de facto union. It goes back to the Bible and is very strong even nowadays, though, of course, we must confess, that this stereotype has lost much of its power in our modern society. You thought that it was strange if you are alone. For whom was it strange? For your parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, etc. If it was so strange for many categories of people, than it was strange for you as well. It reminds virus. Bearers of a certain stereotype transferred it to you. Your life developed according to other people's thoughts, ideas and mentality. Agree, it is very difficult to live alone when all your friends and acquaintances are already married. You fell lonely and think that something goes wrong in your life.
The same is with divorce. It also becomes popular, when your friends and acquaintances are getting older. When they divorce one by one and you stay married, you also begin to think that something goes wrong. You begin envy them, because they now have more free time, opportunities for rest and so on. Divorce becomes a sort of fashion. But it's your life, think of yourself and choose independently what is better for you.
It is sometimes very easy to commit a rash action but the consequences can be really dramatic. Don't listen to stupid pieces of advice but follow your own voice.
