What to do with your freedom?

Many people dream about freedom, there a lot of books, films, articles and stories, the main idea of which is the fact that freedom is the best value. If you consider your divorce as a tragedy, this idea looks like an outrage upon you. Indeed, you don't know what to do with it. You would give it as a present to those who need it, you don't feel that you need it now. This is the lesser thing you want to have now. It always happens that you get from your life those things you don't need.

But maybe you'd better look at this present carefully and think how it can help you. Let's talk about freedom in general. What does it mean?

Freedom means that you can do what you want, say what you want, act as you like and so on. Of course, it is an extreme. Such behaviour can offend many people. If you do so after your divorce, it's bad. Don't spoil other people's life, if your own life is spoilt. Real freedom means that you can do those things which don't break other people's freedom.

The question is why people refuse from freedom consciously, espousing. This question is rhetorical and there is no exact answer to this question.

The other question is why you can't feel happy and enjoy this freedom. The matter is that this freedom is not full. You still feel affection towards your former spouse, you are haunted by recollections.

What should you do to make your freedom full?

1. Try to prove yourself and other people, that you are independent. Take up a hobby, devote yourself to an interesting occupation.

2. Try to return your former status. It doesn't mean that you must return to your former spouse. You'd better find a new one. The main thing is not to repeat your mistakes.

It is easier to lose freedom than to find it. If you don't value it, you can lose it forever. Mind it.
